Good Storks in JUMBiELAND
Bazoo – Bazoo is the bumbling S.D.S. (Stork Delivery Service) Superintendent who does his best to keep things under control. Overworked and stressed most of the time, Bazoo T. Stork often appears to be on the verge of a nervous breakdown.
Snafu – Second in command of the S.D.S., Snafu is an accident waiting to happen. He believes he should be the head of the S.D.S. instead of Bazoo. He often \questions Bazzo’s decisions and sometimes goes against his orders. When he does, this good intended stork can usually make a bad situation worse.
Jahboo – Good natured and easy going, Jahboo wants everyone to just get along at the S.D.S. He often spends his time trying to keep peace between Bazoo and Snafu. His calm, soothing Caribbean accent seems to help when he talks strokes out of fighting with each other. However, his casual, laid back approach to life backfires as he sometimes forgets to make deliveries.
Yawhoo – He is the youngest and smallest of the S.D.S. storks who’s obnoxious temperament is magnified by a Napoleon complex. He is sure to be very loud so everyone notices him. He is very ambitious and, despite his personality, very good at what he does. His favorite pastime is annoying and bullying Clementine.
Clementine – A young stork that has huge feet and a tiny beak who has befriended Bunker, Darwin, Filbert and Miss Whiff. Clementine is outgoing and friendly, but her unusually proportioned body has made her somewhat of an outcast with the other young storks (think Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer). They are constantly reminding her that if her beak doesn’t grow, she’ll never be able to deliver babies, which is all she’s ever wanted to do. Clementine won’t let their negative comments get her down. She’s like the Little Engine that could and has decided to prove to the world that just because she doesn’t fit the mold physically doesn’t mean she can’t fulfill her dreams. Clementine is very trustworthy and has a part-time job babysitting the newborn Jumbies in the Pavilion nursery.
Bad Storks in JUMBiELAND
Mr. Snork – The richest stork in Storkenburg, Mr. Snork is President/CEO of Snork Industries. A scroogey, grinchy, cranky kind of bird, Mr. Snork hates Jumbies because they’re different. His big dream is to uncover a way to turn the Jumbies back into single-breed animals (which he has a team of scientists working on twenty-four hours a day). The Jumbies, who love being Jumbies, wisely keep their distance from him and his lackey…
Bob – Mr. Snork’s assistant. A nervous, scatter-brained kind of stork, obsessed with doing a good job and staying on Mr. Stork’s good side. He suspects he may have been responsible for some bad data that caused the major mix-up in the air traffic tower that brought the Jumbies to life. Bob would like nothing better than to rectify his error, preferably before Mr. Snork finds out. He adores Mr. Snork and will do anything that is asked of him.
